Our Staff . . .

The healthcare team at Canby Veterinary Clinic is one of the most highly trained in the Canby Area.  Dr. Pugsley earned his degree from Oklahoma State University in 1981.

Dr. Thomas Pugsley graduated from Oklahoma State University and the College of Veterinary Health Sciences in 1981.  In 1985, Dr. Pugsley began practicing small animal medicine in Canby with his wife Dianna, who is also a graduate of the OSU College of Veterinary Health Science.  Dr. Pugsley is the chief of staff at the Canby Veterinary Clinic as well as the primary surgeon.  He is also an active community member and has been involved with the local Kiwanis chapter, Relay for Life, Child Abuse Summit, and acts as a deacon for the Bethany Evangelical Free Church.  His dream is to retire to a ranch in Colorado and ride horses 'till the cows come home'.

Dr. Sandra Waugh graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College, University of Guelph, of Guelph, Ontario, Canada in 1985.  She has practiced small animal medicine in Sault St. Marie, Ontario, Vancouver B.C. for 10 years before moving to the Portland area with her husband.  Dr. Waugh has been working as a valuable associate veterinarian at the Canby Vet Clinic since 2000, where she has special interest in dermatology, internal medicine and feline medicine.  An avid outdoors woman, her hobbies include wind surfing, sailing, kayaking, cross-country skiing, biking and swimming.
